Grim Inventions Interactive has released Little Gods for Mac OS X. The debut game from this new developer, Little Gods reinvents the brickbashing and “Pong” video game concept with two-player play, different characters and dueling techniques.

Two players — either two humans or a human and computer opponent — square off on the field of battle. You knock a ball back and forth, but not at a static wall of bricks — bricks move, reposition, disappear and reappear. You can also trigger events that will cause the playfield to rearrange. Along the way you can collect “Mana,” or mystical energy that’s stored in the bricks, which unlocks special powers. You can also earn “Karma points” for collecting sacred totems that appear during the game, cashing in that Karma to unlock new characters, arenas and god powers.
